Omaha is the last stop on multi-state tour.
Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks visited the U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska, this month. The Defense Department stated that she “met with STRATCOM Commander U.S. Navy Admiral Chas Richard and other senior leaders, and gained a deeper understanding of strategic threats to U.S. national security, nuclear modernization and deterrence dynamics.”
The deputy defense secretary also visited several other states during that week. She “met with lawmakers, military leaders and service members to see first-hand the Department’s efforts to rapidly advance warfighting concepts and capabilities to meet advanced threats, and hear about challenges and successes within each command.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the deputy secretary of defense as she obtains information and reviews U.S. defense readiness.
- For the leaders of the U.S. Strategic Command as they ensure the military preparedness of the nation.
